Novexx Solutions GmbH develops, manufactures, and distributes industrial labeling solutions from its headquarters in Eching.

Mr. David was already known to the company from previous projects. From April to October 2016, he worked as a freelancer in the Research & Development (R&D) tasked with supporting the commissioning of a new generation of control electronics.

His responsibilities included developing low-level software for ARM Cortex-M Serie microcontrollers using the C programming language. A key focus was the implementation of the NXP Kinetis KV11series for controlling BLDC and stepper motors, as well as for CAN bus communication.

Kinetis Design Studio (KDS)—an Eclipse-based IDE from NXP (formerly Freescale) —was used as the development environment.

Mr. David implemented core system functions, specifically drivers and initialization routines for CAN, SPI, and I²C. He also assisted in integrating the Eclipse project into Subversion (SVN)., the version control system used at Novexx.

Furthermore, he extended the software for controlling a monochrome LCD based on the Infineon XMC1100 microcontroller, enabling its successful integration into the new control electronics.

In conclusion, I would like to express my sincere thanks to Mr. David for his support. Thanks to his structured approach, technical understanding, and experience, he played a key role in the successful commissioning of a complex system of new electronic assemblies that remains in use to this day.
